Welcome to AGMS

Alexander Gibson Memorial School, also known as Marysville School is a multi-dimensional elementary school located in Marysville, a part of greater Fredericton, the capital of the Province of New Brunswick, Canada. It has been central to the former Town of Marysville since its construction in 1926. It bears the name of the founder of the community and, as such, maintains a rich interest in its heritage.
Through additions to the original building in 1957, and subsequent modifications following a fire in 1977, it has grown to a student population of about 330 children in a K-5 configuration. We are organized into 18 homeroom classes including a French Immersion program for grades 1-5. We also offer an Intensive French Program at the Grade Five level.
Our connection to the community is a strong one and community events are a regular part of the extra-curricular activities of the school.

We are a SCENT
FREE school.
